Styles of Writing
There are many styles of writing, as you will quickly read. There are many very talented writers in all areas of expertise and also of rhyme. I do NOT put myself in those professional and very skilled realms. My forte' is taking a few pieces of information and turning it into a writing, then, to take that writing alone and/or to add a photo and create a design or layout that you will be proud to give as well as receive! These are a few writings to give you an idea as to how the three components can all come together to form one unique gift!

Gift in my Arms
As I sit and reflect on years gone by, I go deep in my thoughts remembering the most precious of events .... and I sigh! For within the space reserved just for YOU, makes me realize just how detailed was God's point of view! At the beginning of life He had it all planned out and there is none who can say GOD had ANY doubt. He spoke into existence the Heavens and the Earth and every living thing, even YOUR birth!!
The Masters plan was as precious a gift and His thoughts were so precise and so very swift. Out of ALL His creations that we have here on earth, none was as beautiful as YOUR very birth! As I held you in my arms and you gazed up at me .... I caught a vision of beauty I hadn't yet seen! My thoughts raced ahead to and fro, It suddenly hit me just how little I did know. I counted each little toe and each finger on each hand, you were an angel sent by God and part of His perfect plan. Without so much as a lingering thought, you lay in my arms and my heart you caught!
Love so pure, so simple, so free, love with NO boundaries looked straight up at me! How an amazing miracle could be so preformed and with so much perfection, you were so adored! You transformed my heart and made ME see, what a blessing you were and will always be!

Just by Chance
The other day I happened by chance, upon this boy that hadn't glanced.
As fate would have it our paths had crossed, then it was fate that had become the boss.
For this young lad had darted out, there was no time for anyone to shout!
God smiled down on us both that day, sometimes we just have NO say.
When the shadows of life interferes, all we can do is walk through the spheres.
This boy and I had never met, til' this chance encounter had been set.
Now forever impressed in our minds are the lines of fate that interwind!
At times there is a change of heart, for whatever reason this played a part.
We both continue on life's way, and be assured that all was well that day.
Life you see is just so short....we must hold on and not consort.
We can try and try as we might, to erase the slate of life's frights...
May YOUR path be strong and sure, your footing deep and so secure.
Choose a path that for you is best , may you find happiness on your quest.
Be forever humbled about that day, be NOT sorry in any way....
Life's lessons are not to be tossed away, however, to be pondered for another day!

Just One Breath
God Spoke into existence the Heaven's and the Earth,
And with just one breath this tiny life unfurled.
With ten little fingers and ten little toes,
With a little button nose curled up like a rose.
God spoke into existence this tiny new life,
And with just one breath you now hold her in the light.
You look into her sweet little face,
You both Thank God for His Wonderful Grace!
God spoke into existence this bundle so full of love,
And with just one breath He sent her from above!
As you gaze and you ponder this miracle come true,
You know you are blessed....more then either of you knew!
God spoke into existence this little one from within,
And with just one breath He gives you every giggle and every grin!
She will learn to twirl and stand on your toes....
And will steal your hearts and learn to be bold!
She will Love you and trust you and let you hold her tight,
She will hold fast to you both with all of her might.
Your days will be filled with such awesome delight,
And, she will never be very far out of sight!
May all of God's blessings be yours this night,
May you feel HIS presence in all it's Glory and Might!
May this precious life that has been placed in your hands,
Be raised in Love within God's Master Plan!!

In Memory of...
To my dear children, family and friends who are gathered here today, just a few things I would like to say. I know that my passing has been hard to accept,
your hearts are heavy and tears you have wept. I am so touched that you would all come here today, to celebrate MY life in such a way! I no longer suffer nor do I have pain! I walk streets of gold where my Lord and Saviour reigns! The LOVE is abundant and my soul is at rest, I am indeed happy and so very blessed!!
"As I boarded that plane, leaving everything behind, I knew in my heart I was running out of time. As I peered out the window and we broke through the clouds, I could faintly hear Heaven's Angels singing aloud!
Within the days that we had that did follow, My mom showed me such strength and resolve for tomorrow. The moments we shared were so sweet and tender, the conversation we had speechless I was rendered. It was very apparent that my mom had accepted her fate, for her spirit was calm and she was content to wait. She had certainly enveloped within such a peace, for with every word that was spoken her fears were released! She spoke of her precious dear ones that she had lost over the years, and how she would soon join then forever without any pain or fears.
I will miss her so much and the things we had done in the past, they are forever memories that will most certainly last! In those last moment as we were there by her side, our hearts were broken but
we knew we would be together again in that sweet bye and bye!
We will forever hold dear the times that we've had, the tears will be many but HAPPY not SAD!! We know that our mom is safely on Heavens shores and HIS praises she sings now and forever more!!!

THE GENERATIONAL CURSE
'Grandchildren'....Now there's a word with some very deep meaning,
A word that leaves us grandparents.....well, just leaning!
Just one day alone with these little tykes,
And we can't imagine how we did it....YIKES!
"Just one ounce of their energy" we all say,
To be so carefree in every way!
We Love them more then we ever imagined,
And the joy they bring is more then we fathomed!
We are so happy to see their little faces at the door,
And so enjoy having them running and rolling on the floor.
We feed them and give them candy and pop,
And all of those things.....mmmmmm We know we should NOT!
"You spoil them rotten" mom and dad say,
But, isn't it just the American way??
Oh! There is NO harm done at the end of the day,
When we send them home to their parents and they STILL want to play!
There is always that one who just fits the bill,
You know the one that have that same Strongest of Wills!!
This is the grandchild that as parents WE wished on our kids,
The ones we shook OUR fingers at as we bid!!!
"I hope that one day, God gives you a child JUST like YOU,"
As I laughed and never gave it a thought,
Until that day came and MY child's kid hit the spot!
I Thanked MY Mom for her words many years ago,
For the curse of that finger, and the force of it's blow!
For NOW right before me is this precious grand child,
"The image of myself and of my child!"
And yet, once again, those fingers still wave,
And, just as before another generation continues today....
There is NOTHING that can be done to stop it, NO WAY!!!

A Friendship in time
How the fates have turned us about,
In such a way, that we have no doubt .
Who could have never known or even thought,
That this far up the road we would be caught.
The Friendship that has always been,
That which had moved away coming back again.
A friendship like ours have stood the test of time,
What a sweet surprise as we’ve come over that line.
Life has taken us around and beyond,
Any boundry we could have ever drawn!
What are the odds to find each other ,yet again,
It is truly amazing, How long has it been?
I have always believed that ‘Nothing is by chance’
There are reasons for everything, that’s my stance!
Our united friendship has meant to me, so much,
With every word spoken and every subtle touch.
Who knows what the future might hold,
"It is what we make of it", if I may be so bold!
With each new dawning of each passing day,
It is a gift to be given to each of us, I’d have to say.
There is not one that can say the day or the hour,
We must forge on with all hope and with all inner power!
Take NOTHING for granted, My dear friends,
Life is too short, no margin for error I contend!
We must Live it and Love, each our own way through it,
One step at a time is the only way we can do it!!!
